On Saturday, January 21st I turned 30…and it was a GREAT day.  To be honest, I was still recovering from a nasty case of the 24 hr flu – which lingered through the weekend, but the day itself was one of HOPE.  Hope?  Yes hope.  I have a strong sense that this new decade is full of adventure, life, opportunities to trust God and sweetness.  I have a confidence I didn’t have five years ago, I am growing into my skin as a woman and it feels good.  I like 30.  And so I do hope that my 30′s are filled with greater wisdom and understanding.

You may also notice that I am “growing” in general.  Well, that is because we are expecting baby #2!  We are 26 weeks pregnant and so thankful for this new addition to our family.  At the beginning of May we will welcome a second daughter to our family, and we are just delighted!

For my birthday Bryan made me a huge card with pictures from the past eight years – significant places and events of my life.  It was a sweet surprise that morning!  Our little Sabrina helped him print all the pictures and deliver the fun card.  Thanks babe, it was a fun day.
